The TripleJR Journey:

From Tractor to Team

When we started TripleJR Land Service back in 2020, all we had was a tractor, a skid steer, and a determination to do work we could be proud of. John Raines Jr. and his father, John Sr., wanted to create something of their own after years of working for others in the land services industry.

The name “TripleJR” comes from our family – John Jr., John Sr., and John’s stepmom Jolene Raines. It was originally the nickname for our family ranch, and when we started the business, Dad’s only request was that we keep the Triple JR name alive.

Over the years, we’ve grown our equipment fleet, adding excavators, a dump trailer, and specialized attachments. But more importantly, we’ve built a reputation for honest work and quality results throughout South and North Carolina.

In December 2023, we lost John Sr. to cancer – a tremendous loss for our family and our business. His values of honesty, quality work, and treating people right remain the foundation of everything we do today. And that’s how we keep his memory alive.

OUR VALUES & APPROACH

Built on Honesty, Not Volume

We believe in doing things right the first time, even if it’s not the easiest option. Our business is built on relationships and reputation, not just completing as many jobs as possible.

Honest Assessment:
We’ll tell you exactly what your land needs, even if it means recommending someone else for specialized work.
Clear Communication:
From regular progress updates to answering your questions, we believe in keeping you informed throughout your project.
Family Legacy:
As a family business, our name and reputation matter deeply to us. Every job we complete carries our family name.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Working With TripleJR

Have questions about our process, payment terms, or what to expect? Here are answers to common questions about working with TripleJR Land Service.

How far in advance should I book your services?
During busy seasons (typically spring and summer), we recommend scheduling 4-6 weeks in advance. For winter projects, we might accommodate shorter timeframes. Emergency services for storm damage are prioritized as needed.
What is your service area?
We primarily serve South Carolina and North Carolina, but we’re willing to travel for larger projects. For out-of-area sites, we can bring our equipment—and even stay on-site in a camper—to reduce travel costs and keep your project moving.
What are your payment terms?
For most projects, we request 50% upfront to lock in your spot and 50% upon completion and your approval. For large-scale work, we can discuss alternate payment arrangements based on scope and timeline.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes, we provide free on-site estimates for all our services. We believe in seeing your property firsthand to provide an accurate quote based on your specific needs and conditions.
